Welcome to my world, where the classroom meets the competition mat

As a taekwondo student-athlete, my days are filled with balancing studies, training and competing. In between- whether it's preparing for an upcoming exam or perfecting a kick, I'm constantly pushing myself to stay sharp both mentally and physically. The discipline and focus I've gained through taekwondo have become essential tools in managing both academic and athletic life. But my journey doesn't stop at competing I also step onto the mat as a national referee. Officiating taekwondo matches has opened my eyes to a whole new side of the sport. Being responsible for maintaining fairness focus, and control during high stakes matches has taught me leadership, confidence, and quick decision making under pressure. Traveling to different cities for competitions allows me to connect with athletes, coaches, and referees from all over the country, constantly expanding my perspective and deepening my respect for the sport. This blog is where I share my life as a student-athlete referee whether it's stories from recent travels for competitions, lesson learned through officiating, on the struggle of balancing with coursework. This life is tough but also a blessing even though it gets hard sometimes I still chose to push through.
